The family business was established by Paul and Netta Hill, with the purchase of the Maitland Esso Distributorship in 1960. Some of the major milestones in the history of Hills Tankers
1960 - The Hill Family buys into the Maitland Esso Fuel Distributorship
1985 - Begin a 24 year relationship carting vegetable oil for a local company
1991 - Mobil aquires Esso, and the business integrates two additional Hunter Valley distributorships
1995 - The Mobil Distributor business is sold
1995 - PJ & AD Hill Pty Ltd begins cartage operations of petroleum products
2007 - Establish Hills Tankers in Brisbane
2011 - Expand our Qld operations to Mackay
2012 - Commence operations in Victoria
2015 - Relocate from our Rutherford depot to our new 40000 m2 built facility in Beresfield
2016 - Establish a sub depot in Sydney
The company now is 100% owned by Andrew & Vicki Hill and will continue to plot a safe course in an ever changing market leading the business into its future direction and growth..
